Product description

The basic material of the water flow switch WFS1001 is stainless steel, the shell is made of engineering plastics with a fully sealed structure, and the protection level is IP55.

The WFS1001 water flow switch is a target type flow switch that is primarily used to control liquid flow in water, cooling systems, and other fluid circuits.

The water flow switch WFS1001 is commonly used in locations that require chain action or cut-off protection.

The WFS1001 water flow switch is an SPDT micro switch with two pairs of contacts, one generally closed and the other normally open, that the customer can wire according to their needs.

Installation instructions:

1. The micro switch's contact function is represented in Figure 1, with 1-3 usually closed contacts and 1-2 contacts connected when the flow exceeds the required value.

2. The pipeline installation

The flow switch on the pipeline must take into account the following factors:

(1) The flow switch must be mounted on a straight pipe with a straight length of at least A=5 times the pipe diameter on at least two sides (see Figure 2)

(2) The flow switch can be used in horizontal or vertical pipelines that have upward liquid flow, but not in pipelines that have downward liquid flow. When used in a pipeline with upward liquid flow, gravity must be taken into account, and the flow switch should be set to a value somewhat higher than the average flow value depicted in the diagram (Table 1). In most cases, there is no need to alter the flow. If the flow switch does not work, check if the system flow is too little, the filter is dirty or obstructed, and the target piece is stuck on the pipe hoop.

To adjust the flow set point, it is necessary to remove the flow switch from the pipeline for adjustment, push the lever by hand to simulate the flow of water to push the baffle, use a multimeter to detect the normally open and normally closed flow switch normally closed, and then install it on the pipeline.

(3) The flow switch is shipped with 1-inch, 2-inch, 3-inch and 6-inch targets. If other sizes of target are required, the target can be trimmed according to the template shown in (Figure 3), and its arc shape should match the pipe.
